The Pensacola News Journal featured 83-year-old George Goggans, an Azalea Trace resident who says he's at the best shape of his life. George recently competed in his first half marathon under the guidance of the Pensacola retirement community's fitness trainer Maryjo Loucks.

Azalea Trace resident completes first half marathon at age 83

CLOSE At 83 years old, George Goggans ran his first half-marathon. Now he is in the best shape of his life. In January 2019, the Azalea Trace retirement community resident approached his fitness trainer, Maryjo Loucks, asking if she thought he would be able to complete a half-marathon.
